FGI is seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful Charter and Sales Assistant with strong computer and communication skills. This position is geared towards a person who enjoys working on a more independent level and is interested in working on a variety of listings and charter management projects that require a great amount of attention to detail.

This is a hybrid role where the workload will be divided between two groups – Sales & Charter Management. The individual who will excel most in this role will be someone who is able to demonstrate an advanced level of administration experience combined with some marketing/creative know-how.

 

Sales, duties include, but not limited to

  • Create presentations, proposal, contracts and listing agreements
  • Maintain yacht listings in various yachting MLS Systems
  • Schedule and Manage yacht showings
  • Assist with Broker open-houses and other industry events
  • Assist with yacht closings
  • Create industry email broadcasts
  • Prepare and manage mass mailings
  • Maintain spreadsheets (central listings, etc.)
  • Point of contact with in-house designer for creation of marketing materials

Charter Management, duties include:

  • Ad hoc support on the creation of yacht marketing materials (brochures, presentations, social media posts, e-flyers, etc.)
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the charter fleet photo libraries and charter fleet spreadsheets.
  • Ongoing support with charter fleet listings
  • Ongoing tracking of marketing initiatives for the charter fleet
  • Support in the planning of charter fleet events

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Yachting industry
  • Must have administrative experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and visually focused
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Strong Multi-tasking Skills
  • Driven and willingness to learn
  • Strong Computer skills, including Word, Excel/Google Sheets, Outlook, Google-drive, Drop-box
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is desired
