FGI Welcomes Barbara Stork

FGI yacht Group is honored to have one of the most respected and equally talented retail charter brokers join its growing family.

Barbara Stork Landeweer, a deserving recipient of multiple awards and accolades in the superyacht industry, has amassed unsurpassed expertise in the charter retail sector through her 25 years of industry experience. Hailing from New York, she worked in the banking sector until, in 1988, she moved to Florida and met a yacht broker who motivated her to consider a career in yachting. She began her successful tenure in yachting as an assistant at Fraser Yachts.

Following 10 years of success at Allied Richard Bertram, where she managed to establish the Charter Division as the sole charter agent, she moved to The Sacks Group in 2003 where she refined her skills and expanded both her knowledge in yachting and her ever-growing client base. The Sacks Group merged with IYC in 2010 where Barbara remained a consistent top producer building her business, traveling to the various charter shows around the world, and booking some of the most notable yachts in the market.

In addition to being a top charter broker, Barbara obtained her Yacht Salesperson’s License in 2000 with the plan to further assist her charter clients transition into the purchase of their dream yacht.

Barbara is a member of the biggest and most important associations in yachting, some of them being MYBA, AYCA, and IYBA.
