Samurai is the culmination of impeccable design work by some of the industries’ top-performing leaders. The Alia yard worked alongside naval architects Van Oossanen & Associates to bring to life a patented fast displacement steel hull that can achieve unprecedented efficiency and speed through its innovative power curve. Omega Architects were responsible for her exterior design, and Redman Whitely Dixon (RWD) for her Zen-like interiors. It didn’t come as a surprise that Samurai, delivered in 2016, went on to become the Showboats Design Awards winner in 2017.

Paying special attention to her exterior shapes and lines, you’ll notice the vertical rectangular windows that make up half the length of the boat. These windows provide entry to showers of sunshine in her already vibrant staterooms, and her elegantly arched superstructure and long aft overhangs add a sporty feel to Samurai.

Alia’s Samurai consists of an impressive 1,029 GT that almost seem deceptive at first sight. She hosts 5 staterooms on the main deck, 4 of them being mirrored convertible twins with ensuites, and the uber spacious 87.1 square meter owner’s suite with a lounge area to starboard and berth to port. The owner’s suite is equipped with a beautiful architectural skylight, ensuite, and walk-in closet.

The main deck salon instils a feeling of joy and freedom to her guests with her floor-to-ceiling windows, free-flowing layout, and open concept dining room. Her furnishings are light and complement the natural elements found throughout her interiors, all adorned by the extensive use of glass aboard Samurai. A panoramic sky lounge leading out to the open foredeck makes this space hugely versatile, as does the fifth guest-suite option.

Whether one feels like relaxing, enjoying the chef’s 5-star cuisine, being active, entertaining friends, or simply playing by the water, Samurai provides an al-fresco space for any mood. Serene views can be enjoyed from her 97.7 square meter sun deck with a large Jacuzzi pool and loungers, as well as from her two aft deck areas equipped with free-standing furniture and sun loungers. Samurai’s innovation is epitomized by her beach club and gym with fold-down transom door and side platform where guests can easily enjoy the water toys.
