SOLD: BILGIN 82M – Project BOND
FGI Yacht Group is pleased to announce the signing of a new 82-meter Super Yacht project with Bilgin Yachts, Project BOND, with Simon Graham representing the buyer, John Staluppi. This signals the continued strength of the relationship between Bilgin and FGI, with this being the second new-build sale the two have completed together.
“I chose to build my next 82-meter superyacht with Bilgin because of their flexibility and their willingness to adapt to my vision,” said Staluppi. “They embraced innovative solutions that balance performance with comfort. The yacht is designed with a shallow draft for access to more harbors, while still offering true global capability and the level of speed and ride quality I expect.”
The 82m project marks a significant addition to Bilgin Yachts’ growing portfolio in the 80-metre-plus segment and reflects continued demand for fully custom platforms tailored to specific owner requirements. The yacht is being developed with a focus on versatility, combining global cruising capability with a reduced draft suited to U.S. cruising grounds.
“I’ve known John and Jeanette for nearly 20 years, and this project is very much in line with how they approach yachting: bold, but practical,” said Simon Graham of FGI Yacht Group. “Bilgin’s adaptability made the process seamless. They were responsive, solution-driven, and open throughout. With its range, shallow draft, and performance, this yacht is well suited to the American market while remaining capable globally.”
Jeanette Staluppi is leading the interior vision alongside Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design, bringing a highly personal approach that will define both how the yacht is lived on and the overall onboard experience.
Further details on delivery timeline, will be announced as the project progresses.
FGI Yacht Group congratulates Bilgin Yachts and all parties involved on the signing of Project BOND.
