Born and raised in Miami, Florida, David Montello’s passion for the ocean began at a young age. Engaging in a broad range of activities, from surfing to fishing and snorkeling, one of his earliest memories out on the open waters is when he learned how to water ski at the age of six. Living in South Florida ensured he became extremely well-acquainted with boating, during which his love and respect for the ocean only deepened. After graduating from university, he went on to work as an accomplished luxury and travel sales specialist, receiving an award labeled “Whatever It Takes” for exceeding clients’ expectations.
Recently joining the team at FGI as a Yacht Broker, David aims to continue excelling at meeting clients’ needs by matching them with the perfect vessel. At the same time, he hopes to share his love for yachting and the ocean with others. Building on his previous experience onboard various types of yachts, from expedition to motorboats and fishing, today he specializes in working with yachts over 80ft (25m) in length.
When he’s not working, you can find David enjoying some of his hobbies outside of yachting, such as tennis, basketball, and mountain biking.
