Aotearoa, or “The Land of the Long White Cloud,” is what the native Maori called New Zealand, but you are much more apt to find sunshine and sparkling seas on your charter, especially in the summer months of December through February. During the Pacific’s southern summer cyclone season, New Zealand is out of harm’s way, and with 11,000 miles of pristine coastline, sheltered bays, and abundant marine life, it offers something for everyone, particularly the adventurous at heart.
