This newest member of the fleet, whose exterior was designed by architect Filippo Salvetti in collaboration with Ferretti Group, introduces an entirely new method to enjoy the ocean. The remarkable ingenuity of the 720’s solutions elevates the concept of luxuriously comfortable commuting to new heights. It is about living the marine life in style, in a home on the waves, with all the luxuries of a yacht of timeless elegance and a never-before-felt sense of well-being.
The Ferretti Yachts 720 made its début at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival and immediately sparked controversy. With her incredible spaces, unexpected headroom, and abundance of areas to appreciate, she revolutionises the cruise experience. She is the result of a collaboration between our Product Strategy Committee and our Engineering division. She is the second yacht to feature exterior design by Salvetti and Ferretti Group and interior design by our own architects and designers. The expansive master cabin echoes the play of colours and materials that adorn the main deck, in a private setting that is unparalleled and a delight to discover.
The minimalist yet detailed design provides a constant contrast to the walk-in closet and the stately bathroom, where the smoked-glass inserts and form-following functionality are in keeping with current fashions. This new model’s winning style is founded on a combination of contrasting textures. The striped ceiling, the corrugated surface of the walls, the grid-pattern headboards, and the oblique-stripe motif on the lounge furniture coexist in a profoundly natural harmony. The illumination design is a distinguishing characteristic of the 720. Horizontal LEDs are integrated into the ceilings to create a soft, diffuse effect, whereas vertical spotlights with independently adjustable beams highlight original features with scenic panache.
